First Time I've cleaned her up since I put the new rims on. Also I'm thinking about going wingless and getting tinted headlights. What do you guys think? View attachment 315353

How do you like the Fr500 steering wheel? Awesome car a drop and a new cat-back would really set it off....

I love the steering wheel. I put it on about two years ago because the leather on the stock one was hella messed up and I couldnt find a cover that I liked. My buddy has an Termi and My steering wheel is a little thicker and more comfortable than his. Hopefully I will be doing the drop soon. Anyone have any pics of the Tailpipe of the MAC catback. I remember seeing tips that were regular cut and rolled. I think I would like something similar to that instead of the slash cut pipes.

Your mustang looks clean.
I like your 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels!
Have you thought about maybe getting a reasonable drop?
Like the Eibach Pro Kit with shocks and struts?
A new catback exhaust would also be nice.

Nice looking car! I really need to do that sometime, clean the car up really nice and take some pics. I'll keep that steering wheel in mind if I ever need to replace mine, it looks really nice.

98COBRA281 Do you have any pics of your tips? I am thinking about getting some but not sure what will look right on these cars.

I have always woundered what the FR500 wheel looked like. What is the difference Just the thick leather around the wheel? BTW nice looking vert.

i have one too and the difference is the padding on the inside is thicker and leather wrapped around it has a much better feel to it than the stocker. to me the stock leather wrapped wheel felt like plastic. its easier to hold on to as well.

if you look at the picture of the wheel again, you will see the top and bottom are smooth leather, and the sides are perforated leather.

Thanks guys. I love the steering wheel. When I first got it the difference was night and day. It feels much better than the stock wheel. Those 3.5 tips look pretty good actually. I always thought they might look too big on my car.

What do you guys think about the tinted headlights? Any experience...pics perhaps?

those look really sick on your car...esp since it's black...i would like to see some picks of a red stang with the tinted heads...i thought there was a red aero on here somewhere with chrome bullitts that had them...i think since my rims are charcoal colored the tinted lights might be the way to go instead of the clears...

I think smoked headlights would look great on your mustang since
it is red.
Also I don't know why but your exhaust tips look really small
in your pics. You should consider getting a catback exhaust
with bigger tips than the stock 2.25" ones.
Magnaflow has very nice 3.5" tips with their catback exhausts
look into it.

Great looking wheels. Those are my favs out of the Ford parts bin. The FR500 is one of the best things you can do for your interior. The wheel is thicker and the leather is softer and of a higher quality. Now to head light covers. They are against the law here in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Also, I'm against them. Why would you want to lower the effectiveness of your headlights at night time?
