Well 2 weekends ago we went up to MIR for the Bad Mustang Club "Get Out Of The Cold Cruise". We rented out MIR for a while and had somewhat of a car show.

First time Ive had the car running since 06.

After MIR we went to a hotel near Mason Dixon Dragway where we would be racing the next morning. Out of nowhere we got some super dense fog...
Made for some cool pics though...

Flash On

Here are 2 different videos of my 1st run at MIR. Car was misfiring badly, so I eased it off the line...

Nice coupe! Do you by chance know where you bought or found your mirror writing? Thanks - JJ

both vids were of the same run.

1st Pass

R/T- 1.148
60'- 2.475
330'- 6.859
1/8th- 10.418
mph- 69.15
1000- 13.505
1/4- 16.075
mph- 89.48

2nd Pass

R/T- .502
60'- 2.230
330'- 6.532
1/8th- 10.040
mph- 70.16
1000- 13.074
1/4- 15.609
mph- 90.68

Times were way off my previous best... Ive ran as fast as 8.80 @ 80mph in the 1/8th. So I was over a full second off... MPH was way off too... The misfire is killing all my torque.

Yeah simple design but pretty much timeless look. Not too expensive either. lol

Thanks. Ive always wanted a little rake. The 27" rears help along with the weight jacker lower arms. If I could only get it running right...

great looking car......although, it looks like a 12 second car but performs worse than a sixer. Get that misfire fixed!

With those mods you should be deep into the 13's. that missfire must be real bad. Also your launch is real weak, stand on that bitch!

yeah the misfire is from idle to 3k rpm. so there goes all my torque...

I launched pretty slow b/c the rear gears/axles were just installed and the misfire makes the car pretty jumpy when you get on it hard from a stop.

I dont think I have a vacuum leak since I propaned the car today and there wasnt any increase in idle...

yeah I thought we were running a .500 or .400 light but I found out the track was using a .000 light as a perfect R/T

Once i get the misfire sorted out I hope to run alot better. Maybe a 13! lol

The plugs were brand new and the wires are 3 months old. Firing order is right on and the timing was at 10*... Believe me ive checked everything multiple times.

Just waiting on my paycheck then Ill take it to my shop and they can figure it out.
