Thanks everyone

How much boost are you running? Did you estimate the fwhp? It's well over 700 with the parasitic loss from the blower. When the motor goes, it's gonna be loud.
Are you using the snow kit or a homemade version? It's good to see it works as intended.
What are you planning on upgrading your fuel system with?

I calculated it with 18% drivetrain loss made a nice #
I was seeing 13psi when I would lift, and it is the Snow Stage 2 kit.
No plans of upgrading the fuel system just yet...rev limiter set @ 5400 for now, ha

Thanks for everyone making a point to say something about my block....this is all so new to me I wasnt aware of that. Car has been 450+ for over 3 years so I guess the GHODS have been with me.....either way if it aint broke dont fix it right:)

The funny thing is, I coulda made over 600rw easily. If I coulda used the boost cooler to its full potential...say run around 28-30* total...and pulled the car to 6k I woulda been close to 650rw I do belive.
20* total, 11.01 a/f, and a 5400rpm shift point is about as safe as I can get at this level...so I'm just gonna put put around with this for a bit.

Oh yah Mathhiaj...thats BlueOvals fav saying..hehe

lol, I can appreciate your sarcasm with our comments about your block. It's just worth mentioning because you've sooo far past where the stock block usually can't go. You obviously know what your doing in regards to tuning and have your tune absolutely perfect. That and some really good luck.

Oh, and do you have the snow kit injecting before or after the blower?

Its injecting after the blower.
Its funny how people talk about block breaking like they have been there done that, yes its true I am in the danger zone, but how many guys are making 600-700rw on stockers...tons...its just the only ones u hear about are the ones that explode.

But instead of this being a fun thread, where I can get a lil pat on the back for a TON of hard work...people just make post about my block..haha.
Thanks for all that gave me a thumbs up!

Chris and his car own you all lol....don't knock it unless you have something that is gonna get up and put car lengths on him....he has had that car dialed in for years now, and it only just keeps getting better....i say keep going man!...keep the tune conservative, and go for more power man!....if you are not breaking parts you are not going fast enough anyways....yes it may be the case that he is pushing the limits of the stock block but it has not gone yet, and there is no reason it should any time soon....this car is done right, and has been for years....when the time comes to upgrade the block im sure Chris will....

....anyway....i give you four thumbs up man!

Anthony

:rlaugh:

Chris, I didn't get a chance to see your numbers friday (too busy wrenching on my junk) but i'll hit you up on MSN next time I'm on. You mentioned you could have made 650rwhp pretty easily though, that's pretty impressive already. :nice:

527rw 525rwtq @5400 on 91 running outta fuel with only 17* total
The alky dropped my a/f almost a full point, on the alky
578rw 558rwtq @ 5400 because my fuel press started falling. My a/f was at 11.01 and I only had 20* total..haha With the alky I should be able to run atleast 28* total, that combined with a 6k pull wouloda been nice.
I donet have the volume fo fuel to feed the motor.

I'll leave these up for a day or so.
