Hello! I was able to finally get a third car as a project and it is a yellow 2001 convertable cobra. I was looking for an older (and cheaper) project, but I was able to swing it.
Anyhow, I'm at Shaw AFB, just around the corner from Sumter SC. I haven't owned a 4.6 mustang before, so hopefully I can pick up a few things here on the site. The car has 54K for the miles and I dropped it off at the local car stereo shop to get the windows tinted for Staurday, and Sunday drop off at Ford for a Monday service call. The oil looked pretty good, but I'm going to have them change it and rotate the tires, check the brakes, etc.... I want to make sure its good to go before I start tearing it apart.
My DD is a 2006 Ram quad cab w/Hemi. I'm looking to find some local shops to help build the mustang. So far I've been to Macon Moore Performance in Sumter, and was pretty impressed.
My car is stock, so the obvious first question is, where do I start?
