I picked up a PRP last week, bought a couple of tunes off of Don at LRT and the instruction disc he made. Hopefully I will absorb everything quickly, get familiar with the software and be able to lend a hand to the next guy. Don doesnt know it yet, but i will probably be blowing up his email with questions :D especially when i install a meth kit :p

wish me luck. once i get the tune right, the car is going lose 200+ pounds, get some susp work and i'll be looking for bottom 11's this winter on a stock cobra motor.

Keep us updated - I bought the training video hoping that it would help me with my Tweecer.

I found the tuning approach very interesting and useful, but I was disappointed to find out that much of the SCT tuning is done based on 'canned' tunes (disappointed because I don't know all of the parameters that are changed)...

That certainly is one way to incorporate user friendliness

Have you looked at the sctuner.hlp that has been floating around on the internet

It has stuff that can help with your Tweecer.

.

He knows it now!! LOL!

Thanks!

BTW: The canned tunes part applies to injector sizes, basic MAF transfer functions, fan speeds and a number of other things that are changed all the time for all tunes depending on the combo. These are constants that are normally not changed. They still need to be tweaked - either by what a tuner (like myself) has from many similar past tunes, or by the Pro Racer Customer when he/she starts tuning away. If you had the SCT software, as you are watching the video, you can actualyy see everyhting that is changed.
