This is the newest from Spec..alot of complaints about the Stage 3..chatter/pedal feel, so they revised it and came with the "hybrid" suppose to have a very nice pedal feel (similar to the Stage 2 I'm told) no chatter, and all the grabbing force the Stage 3's are known for.
Here she is..shes installed, as is the tranny. Driving eval to come.
Its a Ceramic/Kevlar disk...680ft lb rating

Thats what I need, my SPEC II Is toast. My friend put in a SPEC III and had no chatter or hard clutch pressure probs w/ his. When I get another clutch I think I'll go w/ that Hybrid. How much does that cost anyway?

Now THAT is a clutch. That thing looks like something out of a Mac truck. You won't have slipping problems now.

LOL I am suprised, my stage 2 was a on/off engagement during break-in...not this one. Smooth, pedal effort is VERY nice to my suprise...and NO chatter!!

Dang Chris, that's expensive? You guys don't even want to know what I paid for my McLeod twin disk clutch/flywheel.

LOL yah dude those mofos are REAL spensive...like 800-900$ right?
Yah this clutch was blown me away honestly, I think Spec hit this one dead on. I was expecting it to be VERY grabby, and have some chatter during break-in...not so I couldnt have been more wrong. Even my wife was all for it, she likes it better than the Stage 2 feel..lol

Sure, for the steel flywheel. I've got the aluminum. It was slightly north of $1k. Ouch. It still hurts to say that...

Do they make that clutch for the regular TKO? Would this clutch be overkill with just HCI??
