alright went to the track today for opening day i was spraying the 150 shot. previously my best was 8.67 at 84.32 with a 2.02 60'. today my best was an 8.68 at 88 with a 2.048 60' lol. i think im stuck in the 8.6s for life lol. but i only sprayed half of second gear and all of 3rd and also had to go to 4th right before i crossed the line so i lost some time there as well. I need a tps switch in this thing so i dont have to worry about hitting the button.

Nice trap speed mang, I agree w you that you may have lost some going to 4th gear.

Are you running street tires? Is that why youre not spraying any sooner?

yea they are street tires. I am ordering some nitto 315s today as a matter of fact and going back next sunday. i want low 8s at maybe 90mph when i spray in first

oh and i only sprayed half of second because i was waiting for it to hook when i shifted into second gear. dont want to nail the juice when the wheels are still spinning lol

yea thats correct i only got an 8.6. but you have to look at it this way when you are on motor you shift and all your power is there. I shift have to wait till she hooks then press teh button and i dont have that power in first gear cause thats not when im spraying it. but i can gurantee that i trapped higher than you lol. Im running an 8.8 at 80.5 on motor lol.

If i was running a tps switch were i only have to shift and floor the gas and it does all the spraying for me of course my times would have been down a great deal. but i just ordered a hurst t-handle shifter knob with a button on the knob so i should be able to drop some more with that just being faster on the button.

oh and on that run i was shifting very slow because the last 2 runs before that it was not going into gear my clutch is not too happy with me right now lol. and try adding like 480tq to 245 tires lol.

my buddies lightning with a tune that i put on it with my sniper tuning stuff ran an 8.6 too lol but at 81mph and he was hitting a 1.95 60'. I was mainly happy about my trap cause now its time to work on getting the power to the ground right off the line.

You need tires bad. When you get the tires on and a switch for the pedal you could possibly hit the 7's.

Well you picked up 4mph in the 1/8th mile alone by stepping up to a 150 shot.

Its doing its job... just get some traction and your ET will drop sufficiently.

yea the 150 shot was sweet. its like when you move from the 50 to the 100. a 50 shot feels like a complete waste of time and the 100 shot feels way way way stronger then a 50 and the 150 feels much much stronger than the 100 lol

nitrous is awesome get this thing running 7s and then its time to build the motor and spray more

wiring up the micro switch is pretty easy. find somewhere under the the dash at ur pedal assy to mount it, or u can mount it like i did on the tb so that the piece that the cable turns to go wot hits the switch. either way will work, wire the switch so that it completes the ground circuit for the nitrous and fuel relays. its really pretty simple. then u dont have to worry about pushing a button. i have mine wired with a toggle switch to arm everything, then i have an msd window switch and the wot switch to complete the ground circuit. i spray every gear, even off the line. it turns on at 2500rpms and cuts off at 6k. if u get some decent tires and learn to feather the clutch a little u can spray first gear no problem. i spin the most shifting from 1st to 2nd bc my right foot never leaves the floor lol.
