So it's that time to replace the factory tires (235/50 zr)
I have been happy with these as my daily drivers and as my weekend warriors. I would not mind buying them again. I would like to hear from you guys as to what tires you have bought and what your thoughts were on them.

I went ahead and upgraded both wheels and tires by getting new gt500 takeoffs on ebay. With the money saved on mounting and balancing, the difference between those and what I would have spent on new tires alone was minimal. Plus, now i have an extra set of wheels.

+1 on the gt500 takeoffs - thats exactly what I did too. New wheels and tires for just the cost of the wheels alone. I did have to get the tpms tool though - $35 @ AM

I have been looking at wheels and the Gt500's have been at the top of the list. Where have you guys found deals on these with tires? What price range should I expect?

I bought the GT4 18x9 wheels from American muscle. Back to the tires. I went with Bridgestone potenza RE760. Highly rated by tirerack and I think for an all around summer tire they cant be beat for the money.

Bridgestone RE-11.

Replacement for the old RE-01s. An epic tire for DD and track.
