well, that does look like it simplifies my motor mounting woes....how much did you have to take off of the mark viii pan? I guess I am trying to find out if I can use the stock pan and shove the engine back close to the firewall(i happen to be using a t-5 tranny from an 01 v6, so with the deeper bellhousing and putting the engine back as far as possible I'm hoping for a more favorable shifter location, although that would complicate the engine mounts, and possibly the brake booster) since I wont be using power steering, I cant use a hydroboost system....I'm pretty much stuck with manual brakes...trying to find a MC that wont interfere with the engine
p.s. nothing to do with the 4.6, but did you get the sway bar kit as well from heidts? they sent me the damn thing with no mounting instructions for the tabs
