Hey guys, Just joined this forum the other day. I'm from North Carolina and own a very decent sound/mild performance shop (True Customs). My question is, I just got 4.10 gears put in and i need something as far as a new speedo calibration. Where do I need to go or what do i need to get this done? thanks.

And here is the car i bought a couple months ago that brought me into the mustang world...

Welcome to the board Your car looks very nice except for the stickers on the glass and rims. Anyway, you can use a Predator handheld engine programmer for speedo recal as well as a lot of other handy things. The gears are a great mod, how do they feel?

take those nasty rear tail lights off and I would suggest a SCT tuner over a predator.

The stickers on the glass are kind of a necessity right now with a pretty new shop. I get a lot of business off of people asking about them. They will come off eventually when i get a f-150 work truck. Those rims are stock too, btw i didnt think they were too ricey. And i still switch the stock tails in and out depending on mood, those new ones look really good from the back and at night... and the gears are great!

Wow looks like whoever did all that REALLY wished the GT had been a Mach 1. Weird that they didn't do the grille delete.... I agree, ditch the "euro" taillights... Anyway, I've heard great things about the x-calibrator2 tuner.. good luck.

welcome...
well i hate euro tail lights but thats just me.
what ever it takes to get your biz off the ground, do it.

i got a diablo and let me tell you its great. it has a lot of diff things you can change. after my gear install, i plugged it in and bam, chg'd the ratio over.

i have heard the SCT is good as well. very close to the predator, dunno though.

someone mentioned blackouts to me and i looked up the spray on stuff that i might order and try on my stock taillights. I just dont like the sound of stock in this area that has lots of mustangs running around. Anything to be different... at least they arent chrome . But anyways, what you guys are saying is that there isnt a cheap fix, i will need a tuner to get the job done? (need one anyway probably) I'd just rather not spend the 400+ to get the tuner before i REALLY need it... thoughts?

Get the tuner immediately, you are adding extra miles to your odometer
