Alright just if anyone was wondering this isn't from my car. My cars down for paint, but my dad asked if I wanted to run his 1991 LX, and of course I said yes. Heres a little break down...

'91 LX: Stock bottem end, Stock cam (-4 degrees), GT40P (angle milled, valve job UNported, 1.7 rockers), Cobra intake, 70 TB, 75 MAF, pulleys, Shorties, Prochamber, Hooker mufflers, 4.30s and all the suspension and drivetrain stuff it needs.

Car ran dead nuts consistent with a string of 12.04-12.06s. Had 2 12.1s, one because of me being rusty, and one because of the heat. best pass an O so close...

12.007 @ 111.12 with a 1.60 60'.

Thought it had an 11, but with a steady 5+ mph headwind, and being at the slowest track in our area, its promising. At NH or NJ in the next month or so, should be looking at 11.8s.

Let me know what you think. Car might be changing or even put back to stock and sold within the next year to build a monster NA car, or maybe heads/cam and some juice for more fun!

It's crazy the times you get out of these cars. I 100% believe them, but just crazy. That MPH is freakin' insane! Must be a LOT of time spend on the valves, valvetrain geometry and degreeing the cam. Good work!

Yeah, good money was spent on the heads, 52cc angle mill, 5 angle valve job, good valves and springs. With some porting, and titanium retainers and such the car would be a good deal quicker...

Also to note, this car revs. Right now shift lights at 5800, I let it run past that and hit it at 6000 only because we have the stock rev limiter. Throwing an extender on it, and hitting the gears at 6100-6200 next time out to, see if it wont go a little faster.

Won our Factory Stock event today with it as well and got $250 in machine work at our machine shop. Thinking of porting the E7s and maybe some better components, not sure yet its free money.

Come down here and help my car run like that.

Great times, I wish I had a 1/4 track close to me.

I wish we had one close to... That track (Lebanon Valley Dragway) is 2 hours away, and the worse of the 3 we run at. Etown is the best and 2.5-3.5 traffic depending and NED is 3 or so.

Im thinking mineshaft air at Etown this Oct for Fords @ Etown, and hello 11.8s!

Not too shabby for a glorified Explorer motor!

You really need to mount a camera in your car to tape a run sometime.

Its funny, a kid I raced had one in his car and I debated asking after I knocked him out if I could run it, but I figured Ill just rig something up with our equipment one day!

We have two more races left, and Im sure if I wanted I could snag it on a Wed or Sat and go make some passes!

Wow, those times are nuts. My car doesnt even come close to that, lol. You must have a lot of practice. Ive only been to the track a total of 5 times. I'd be very proud of those times if i were you.

Found a pic, too bad they didnt get a straight shot of the car on the launch...

This is one of the 12.1 runs (the final actually) with a 1.61 60'. Car was pulling 1.60s and if I stepped up the launch RPM probably would have grabbed that 1.59.
