i went to the track last night for the last time this year and i figured what the hell ill launch on the bottle and see what happens. keep in mind i have a stock aod with 4.10's and 28 inch tall et streets. and i dont have a bottle heater so the pressure was about 700psi

my buddy with a 01 trans am wanted to race so thats the other reason i went

1st run was with a 75 shot off the line

r/t -.036
60' 2.009
330' 5.704
1/8 8.747
mph 80.88
1000' 11.363
1/4 13.574
mph 102.06

2nd run was with a 125 shot off the line with 15lbs air in the tires bottle pressure still around 700psi

r/t .054
60' 1.969
330' 5.549
1/8 8.544
mph 82.23
1000' 11.116
1/4 13.294
mph 103.42

tires spun off the line for about 30 feet and it also felt like it was starting to fall on its face at the top end

shouldn't it run more mph with the 125 shot?

oh by the way the trans am won the first race with a 13.497 at 105.68 but he red lit worse than i did so it probably would have been closer

2nd round i won he ran a 13.427 at 106.58

IS it a stock AOD? That might be hurting you quite a bit. It does seem to be low on mph.

Bottle pressure is EVERYTHING with n2o. With that low pressure your not gonna see anywhere near what you could. If you dont have a bottle heater I suggest the hot bath tub water trick and then wrap the bottle in aluminum foil. I used to use the hot bath tub water trick all the time, works like a charm.

With 700psi all your doing is wasting nitrous. Get it to 1000psi and let us know how it hits and runs at the track

You are wasting N20.Bottle pressure has to be at least 900 psi. Also 60 ft need to work on for et streets they should be at least 1.7's,definetely need a convertor
