New Track Times!!!

Well I headed to the track Friday Nite and needless to say returned home pretty happy. I pulled the quad shocks off the car and whenever i dumped the clutch it wheel hopped really bad. Not sure if this was due to no quad shocks or posi. Anyways Im still learning how to slip the clutch and my 60's are still terrible but the car is running strong.

Dumped the Clutch at 4,500 and wheel hopped all the way through 2nd lol.

First Time Ever Slipping the Clutch....not bad and a big improvement!!

Slipped the clutch again and dident do as well but the car ran strong up top thanks to powershifting 2nd and 3rd lol. This new Centerforce Dual Friction is very "unique" to slip. I really think the car has a 13 in it once i get some better 60's going.


I am very happy with the 14.14 though , a big improvement from my previous 14.52

I have some 275 40 17 bfg's on 17X8 rims, just trying to see simluar combos.


My best 60 ft has been a 1.94, dropped the clutch at 4k, and had 18 psi in the tires, but the outside tread is wearing more than the inside.

Thanks for the props man. I did bust a 1.90 60' a while back dumping the clutch at like 3,500 r's with about 14-15 psi in the drag radials. Just a heads up....burn them things in 2nd gear and you will be amazed how much harder they hook.


oh and badingle, thanks for the heads up i kinda figured that was the problem, and yes i do have stock upper and lower control arms. Im gonna throw em back on there and see if i cant get my 1.9 60 foot back if i can no reason i dont see 13's....guess we will see next friday!!
