Congrats!

I'm envious of your 60' for sure!

BTW, was that at Milan or Stanton?

Thanks millhouse it was at Milan.

I need to figure out a way to get my 60ft down to 1.6 and see if she will run a 11.9

get a t5 or a higher stall. with my t5 i leave at 6k and it launches hard.

but for your AOD pulling those 60's launching at 1k thats really good. if you get a nice launch at higher rpm it will pick up alot

Very nice times. What's done to the motor outside of the stroker kit?

At his power level, he's not going to gain a whole lot in the 60' department; could cut some 1.6's with a manual tranny which equates to a .2 second difference in his E.T.; don't think it's really worth it IMO.

Congrats!

I really dont think you'd pick up as much as you think going from the MT DR to a slick though....those DRs work pretty well.

Nice times. What's the setup? Why are you launching at 1k with a 3200 stall? Is it spinning if you launch any higher? What do you run for tire pressure? Pull your front sway bar. Battery relocation. You'll get it down there!

that allows for the converter to flash. if he brought it up to the stall speed it would probably leave slower. all converters are different though.

Yes this is oh so very true. The conveter flashes when I launch her off idle. I can stall it to about 2800-3000 but it does worse because she will bog.

Tire pressure was set at 15psi. I had it at 16 on the first run and it went 12.35@107mph. Then I did three more runs at 15psi and ALL three passes were 12.2@110, maybe I should have tried 14psi?

The combo is a 325 stroker at 9.8:1
AFR185 heads out of the box
TFS 1 cam
3.5" AFM powerpipe
70mmTB and 77mm pro-m with 24lb inj. SCT dyno tuned
Cobra intake with fully ported lower and matched to the heads
13/4 long tubes to 2.5", Prochamber and flowmasters.

I have no AC, no smog, no swaybar, and dual electric fans. I think I may re-locate the battery though.

What do you guys think about getting her re-tuned on race gas 110? Do you think it will be enough?

True! Dumb idea

I just talked to Bill on Hardcore 5.0 and his recommendation is to send my converter back to loosen her up to 4200 stall. Now that I never thought of and he said it should get me there and also recommended an electric Meizer waterpump

It sound's like your on the right track.

I'm not sold on the electric water pumps though. I'd be concerned with their longevity...and their taxing of the electrical system.
