Considering both were automatics, and camaro auto being weaker than their manual, I think it's 100% probable it pulled away that hard. Also remember the 5.0's weight advantage
Once again the 2011 stangs are game changers. It seems to kill the camaro. So if you want a faster muscle car you have to go up to a corvette or GT-500. Also the stock Corvette probably won't be that much faster then a GT with 3.73 gears. If only I didn't speed all the money on moding my car I could pick one of these up. All I know is I will buy one in a year or so when I can pick one up for 10k off the current price.
Off topic, would you go Roush again? I am already virtually modding my 5.0. And although I know whipple and kenne belle will have SICK blowers, I almost think Roush may end up being better for daily drivability & reliability. I dont have experience with any of the above. All i know is the Kenne Belle Terminators sound like "Terminators" from the movie chasing Sarah Conner.
