Why does your rear wheel look strange? It looks like it's going forward, then reverse, then forward a little, than reverse?

Nice job

it's the same concept with airplane propellers. somehow the rotation makes it look like it's changing direction.

Trying to not sound like some kind of "techno-geek-oid":... the tire illusion has to do with the tire's RPM versus the "frame rate" of the movie camera. It helps if you've ever seen some old movie film - it's just a series of "slides" or pictures, just on one continuous piece of film. The frame rate is the number of "pictures" (frames) the camera takes every second as it records a movie; known as "frames per second" or FPS . Same thing happens with digital video cams. If the RPM's of the tire are more than the FPS-times-60 (60 seconds in a minute); the wheels appear to moving forward; if the wheel RPMs drop below the "FPS times 60" number, it looks like the wheels are backing up....

Now that I've already managed to make myself sound like a geek anyway; I just gotta say, "Great vid!". The more I look at the video, the more I like the shiny Bullit's. And the car sounds great! Between the screamin tire and the lumpy-sounding cam; you're gonna scare off most of the wannabe's

I wish I had a lopey cam... That'll have to wait once I subtitute the factory 289 with a 347 stroker or something like that.

I was wondering, was the ride any different after putting aftermarket wheels on?
