Hey everyone.. Well I finally got some new wheels. I went with Kazera 18 x 9.5 on all four corners. Here are a couple of pics for your viewing enjoyment..

Yeah, just my luck it starts snowing NOW! I knew it would come sometime, but not already!!

The tires are Nitto NT555 275/40ZR18 all the way around... They hook up MUCH better than the stock Pirellis did and they seem to be much quieter on the highway.

how does it drive with the 275s up front and the quality roads we have here? i am not sure if i want to go that wide up front. the roads in omaha are pretty crappy unless you are out west.

I was actually just up in Omaha this last week and you are correct about the roads needing some help. The extra width up front definitely helps with overall handling. I do road racing and just in the handful of times I have tested with the wider tires up front, it makes cornering a dream. The overall diameter change to 18" wheels however, does make rough roads transfer the bumps even more..

Here's a question for you... Is there anywhere in Omaha to get 93 octane fuel? I thought of that when I was in town because the highest Lincoln has is 92.. Grrrrrr.

wow 275 up fronts! that's gotta be an interesting ride to say the least. I wouldn't try that in Houston though the roads are horrible I bet the fronts would tramline all over the place here.

Nice wheels though, really gives the car a clean modern look to it.

Congrats

khyron, yeah, i have a station down the street from me that sells race fuel. i believe they have 100 octane unleaded and higher octanes with lead.... all BPs in town have 92 i think. i just use the 91 from QuikTrip, because its easily available and the cheapest in town too. (also top tier rated)
