I am replacing some wire looms on my 65 fastback with a v8. It is an alternator car. I am replacing the alternator feed and the headlamp loom. The new looms from california mustang do not have the capicitors. They have places where the capicitors plug into the looms, but thats it. Three questions. Do I need the capicitors on the two looms and if I do, where do I get them and what size do I need?

The only capacitors I can think of are the radio noise supressors on the voltage regulator and alternator. These are not available new, you must re-use the old ones. In fact, the one on the alternator was 1965 only, thereafter the alt had an internal supressor.
