New Z06 dyno numbers

Carroll won't be kicking himself in the butt. He wasn't necessarily competing for title with the new Shelby Stang against the Vette. That's what his "special" cars are for. Like his original Cobra 427 .... it could eat the original Z06's for lunch on the track. I think the new GR-1 or his new "real" Cobra will more than do the C6 Z06 over. That's what "they" are going to be made for. Not the GT500.


With that said ..... I wonder .... does this new C6 Z06 have the same leaf pack setup in the rear as the regular C6's? That's kind of stupid of Chevy to do if you ask me. Also, I wonder if the quality of the body is still junk. Watch one of them (regular C6's anyway) driving down the road .... you'll see the rear bumper cover shaking rediculously ..... like it's almost ready to fly off at any time. They could have threw a little more "bowtie ingenuity" into the physical characteristics of that car.
 
I don't think anyone in the right state of mind would take a modded 94-95 over a new z06. At least I wouldn't. Some of the guys who work @ the dealers over on the GTO forums are saying some Z06's will be marked up beyond 90k.
