Howdy, newbie here and a lurker so far.......I'll be looking for an S197 in the near future, probably Spring.
So far I'm thinking '05 to '09 GT 5 speed with 3.73's and whatever else....presently I'm liking White, Red, and Grabber Orange or Grabber Blue. The California Specials kind of have my eye, too.
This will be a fun ride for my wife and I to enjoy together, and most likely a coupe version......although a 'vert is not out of the question.
It's a long story, but coming from dirt bikes and other hobbies I'm looking forward to spending time with the Mrs.
I'll start with suspension and brakes and go from there on mods, auto cross is a possibility......the Mrs. grew up at the track and is quite capable of hustling a car!
Looking forward to learning and figuring things out......be gentle on me!
