Hey guys, im john, and im new, and glad to be a part of the stangnet family!

A year back, i got a 68 mustang fastback from my dads friend for only 500 dollars! I was real pleased, as this is now me and my dads project car!

As my user name implies, I will be making it into an eleanor clone from the movie " Gone In Sixty Seconds". It will be, AFAIK, the only eleanor in hawaii.

It is a challenge, but it is well worth it.

Since we're in the talk forum, where would you recommend a tourist go for great beaches, shopping, eating, nightlife,etc.. without getting rippped off too bad?

Hawaii's number one industry is tourism, then eating places. Bring lots of money! My favorite eating places are the lunch wagons parked on/near the beaches, bring your appetite because they serve a lot.

Mmmmmm..... Plate Lunches... I left HI about 3 years ago.. Im back there at least 2 months out of the year to visit my wifes family. Hopefully I'll see ya around the streets. Good luck with you project.
