Just seems to be one weird thing after another, I got a replacement right side trunk floor. What are these weird little ridges in the middle of it? The spare tire should be bolted down so I can't see how this would assist in keeping it in place, and the orignal piece doesn't have them anyway?

Hey Rob,

Not sure what those are but they don't look right. Where are you getting ypour panels from?

I just noticed in another forum that you are in Victoria. I'm in Vancouver. If you are still looking for a reputable Classic Mustang dealer try Millenium Mustang (AKA Nostalgia Speed). He's in the Tilbury Industrial Park not too far from the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal. Hopefully It's not against the rules to post phone numbers here. Call Jeff at 604.940.1977.

Good guy. I've bought lots of stuff from him.

BTW - I come over to Victoria every second month or so for work. Maybe sometime I'll check out your project. Good luck.

Chris

Those ridges were on certain OEM panels as markers for lining up the spare bracket for welding.

I knew you would know, how do you know so much? It seems like you have a handle on every obscure fact, thanks for that

Well I'm not exactly young, I better start absorbing information faster

So I guess there's no harm leaving it the way it is if some OEM panels had it , and the spare will cover it anyway.

Thanks again

Unless you are doing a high-point show car, I'd just leave them, too.

Thanks, I probably will leave it unless it just bugs me too much looking at it, I'm admittedly bad that way
