I just can't imagine it being a 28 large car.

I always wonder how people come up with these asking prices.

Really nice clean car. The Cragar's gotta go though, but it's nice to see the 5 lug. I messaged him and told him to drop the "2" off the front of the price and he MIGHT get a bid.

There's a tubbed II for sale up near Binghamton. I called the guy, he's asking 10.5K, willing to talk. 408" stroker built on a motorsport 4bolt block, victor, ported TFS heads, .700"+ lift solid roller cam, shifts at 7400, built C4 with 5000 stall, 9" housing with steel chunk, alum bearing support, 4.56 gears, 4 link, professional cage, frame connectors, and it's a Stallion car. A shame it's not original.
Anyway, it went 9.90 in the 1/4 all motor. Cool car, he'll sell without motor/trans, too.

He'll probably never get 10.5K for it, even though he's got probably twice that into it.

Just in case anyone is interested, PM me for his number, I'm not buying it.

I kinda like the Cragars. Pretty common around that time where I grew up. Even had a buddy that married a gal with a II coupe with cragars (the heinous 4-luggers).

I actually like the Cragars. A nice "period" wheel. But, they aren't worth 5K apiece. Must be the '77 dash insert was a 20K option in '76?

If it's not the dash insert, it's the battery hold-down for sure.

I think what we have here is a fine example of someone who watches too many TLC shows... if you know what I mean...

BTW- Those Cragars are SWEET and perfect for the car.
