Just had a 125 hp NOS kit installed, omg, this stuff is amazing. With timing turned down to 8 and colder plugs my car made 232/268 NA, with the 125 jets it made 336/437!!!!! I ant wait to get to the track, but i know with 555's im just going to spin like crazy, gotta get some dr's. And then once i get those i might need stronger axles right??? This mod thing really is a slippery slope....

Glad to hear you like it. It feels awesome when you launch on NOS.

What gears do you have??? Might as well kiss your treadwear goodbye with that torque.

My car made 160ftlbs more on a 100 shot and 98rwhp. Nitrous should be rated in torque ratings and not HP imo.

Those numbers sound great. You have a choice of what type of tires to get. Slicks, ET Streets, or BFG's. BFG's are by far the most streetable tire out of the bunch, but still, they do not offer that much. ET Streets are basically a slick with 4 grooves in them, and if you get caught in any type of weather on ET streets, you could be in trouble. My vote would be for the ET streets unless you have to drive a ways to the track.

unforunately this is my only car, and i put over 10,000 miles on it every year. Just a round trip to the track is 200 miles. I dont really want to change tires all the time so im thinking about going with nitto dr's, i know they wont stick quite as well as other options, but they supposedely last a lot longer. What kind of short times are possible with those tires? Next trip to the track is planned for the 28th, God i hope it doesent rain!

oh, forgot to answer sixty9boss302, the car made 233/298 when i dynoed it a year ago. im really confused as to how i lost 1 hp and 30 lbs/ft. different dynos, different condition, different plugs, different timing, etc... but isnt that weird that hp really didnt go down at all and torque took a relative dive (before skyrocketing up)? has anyone else experienced anything like that?

your dyno run while NA was probably inaccurate. how many runs did you make on the dyno NA and with nos? A lot of mustang dynos are known to be inaccurate on the torque side.

The high torque # isnt anything out of the norm.
All of the #'s ive seen, the torque was always sky high compared to the h/p.
bottom line... Nitrous makes butloads of torque

all of these runs were on dynojets, not mustang dynos. i do remember however when i made 233/298 NA that it took 4 runs to get those numbers, first run number were about 20tq down. Was that just from letting the car heat up? This time they only took one pull, so i guess if you compare first pull numbers to first pull numbers they arent all that different.

Thanks for the compliments guys, i cant wait to get her to the track and find a way to put the power down!

very nice tq numbers, im sure with that big of a gain your gonna drop your e.t.s significantly, i never dyno'ed mine but with only the 75 hp shot i gained 1.5 seconds constant sometimes up to 1.8. sound like alot for the 75 hp kit but thats what i got.
my kit uses .9lbs of n20 for every 10.2 sec and its only a one shot so after the 10 sec its on engine power only for the rest of the 1/4 but at the bigginig, i have videos, and ppl always tell me it looks fast the first 1/8 of the run with my 60 ft being 1.8. its the last 2-3 sec on only the engine when i start losing the n20 help.

m/t pro comp, got them with them rims for 45 bucks, and only 3 runs on them, best mod i ever bought. with the regular street tires, got kumho 275-40-17 on the back, only got about 9 tenths maybe 1 sec off. spun like hell of the line, with the amount of tq the n20 gave me. but once i put the m/t i got the 1.5-1.8 drop. if i was to put slick im sure i can even more and a better 60ft, but i dont have the money right now for a new rear end.

with my torque numbers i was advised to not activate the nitrous until second gear, do you think thats wise? Just try to get the best 60 foot on motor i can and then gun it? I think im going to get some nitto dr's soon, that should help a lot.
