I think it's just letting some N2O out of the lines via a purge nozzel...no meaning to it except "hey I have nawws" and maybe clearing the lines if you're going to unhook it or something. At least that's my take on it.

Its definitally useful when you have nitrous that has been sitting in the lines for 2 weeks.

a little sleeper trick if you are trying to conceal your no2 is this.....

when you go to purge, instead uf using a purge selenoind, rev up the motor to about 2-2500rpm and tap the no2 button very quickly. touch it and let off, don't hold it for more than a split second. you will see your motor bog for a split second when you do this. you will know the system is cleared when you tap the button and your motor surges insted of bogs.

I don't know if I would want to try that. super302 is right, allows for pure nitrous to flow so you don't bog when you activate the N20. Plus it looks cool

you dont want to do that at all...and it sure as hell wont make the engine bog...

The whole point of a purge valve is to decrease bottle pressure. Optimal pressure is around 1000psi. If the bottle gets to hot or the pressure starts climbing to 1500+psi you dont want to shoot it into the motor like that or it could definately blow. therefor you relese some n20 by purging it.

and if you want that sleeper trick...you can just put the purge on the bottom of the car. It doesnt have to be all showy with the colored LEDs flashing all over like you may have seen in the movies (cough*the fast*cough*and the furious*cough)
