Yes the NOS instructions say you have to go at least one range colder but recommend 2 ranges colder.

I have the NosZle kit......PITA to install.....& I've seen much better numbers from a typical wet kit.....Its alot of wiring & alot of work....If you have an 03-04 its a different model kit, be sure to get the right one......I have over 50 emails to Holley Tech support.......Awesome support & product but very costly....Almost 2K by time you get gauges, switches, bottle warmer, etc......

I also had to do some notching on my 04 GT valve covers to get the noszles to sit correctly plumb....So it took some engineering to make this kit fit my car....The stock valve cover gaskets on my 04 are like 1/4" thick.....

I am still thinking about the WET NX Plate kit. I will definately have the purge kit anyway. It is half the price with the same gains. The NOS kit is going to be hard to beat though.

Whats the deal on the plugs? I just put in the OEM Motorcraft Platnums #AGSF32PM and I am at .052 gap. It calls for .052-.056 gap. Just by going to a smaller gap creates a colder plug.. pretty sure... correct me if I am wrong.

NX doesn't recommend using the platinums with their kits, or using the stock heat range. Going to a smaller gap helps prevent spark blow out when running nitrous, it doesn't change the plug's heat range. Most people run about .035 gap, but I don't use my nitrous that often on the street, so I went to .040 gap, as the larger gap increases the life of the plug, but I just picked up a set of AR94's that I'm going to swap in for track use only, gapped at .035.
