Thanks Quick 01!! How did you decide on the wet over the dry? Did you install it yourself? Where did you put the computer box, and the arming switch? Sorry for asking so many questions.

The reason I went with the wet over the dry is because I talked to some people at a local speed shop and the person I talked to knows his **** about n20 so he was the reason I went with a wet kit. Yes I did install the kit myself with a friend who has some nitrous experience (but it is very easy to install). I located the NMU under my intake "hose". It is a good place to have because its "shady" but at the same time it is a pain in the ass when you need to get to it because you have to take off the intake and its a tight place. The arming switch is right under the traction control button. It is mounted sideways. I will try to post some pick of my setup.

Thanks Quick 01, I'm thinking with a 100hp shot on an 01 your Stang must really rip.I'm tempted to just buy a 99' or up instead of playing around with pi heads. But till I find one in great shape I think I'll do the Nos.[ I can just switch it over] It's sure great to talk to someone who has a Zex, it's hard to judge what a kit is like by just reading what the manufacturer says. I took a peak under the hood and I think I'll mount the box in the same place as you did.
Thanks again for your great reply.

Oh, one more question Quick01, my Stang is a 5 spd and I was wondering if there are any harmful effects using nitrous on a 5spd? What I mean is the abrupt on again off again of the throttle when shifting as opposed to an auto where you can roll on the gas and then just hold it down through the 1/4. And is there any popping sounds or crackling from the motor when the gas peddle is released? Thanks again for your help :worship:

Ya my car does rip on a 100 shot, its a rush! There arn't to many harmful effects on a 5 spd. I will probably need a new clutch by summer, but I haven't noticed it slipping yet. I don't hear any poppong sounds or crackling from the motor either. I do have some pic's of my setup if you would like to see them.

Whatever kit you go with you should get a tune because you have no Idea if your running rich or lean.

Thanks thats a good idea, all they say in the instructions is to let er rip then check the plugs. The only problem, is that I live in the sticks the closest place to get a tune would Winnepeg [ 220 miles] Can I tune it myself or should I go for a cruise?

The Zex dry Nos has a nozzle going into the air intake spraying pure Nos. The wet kit has a line hooked either into the fuel rail or into the fuel line itself then going into a nozzle mixing the fuel with Nos, which is then plugged into the air intake, just after the maf.It has a wire that connects to the tps,it reads if there is wot, then activates the Nos fuel mixture.Same with the dry kit.It says to run stock timing up to 75hp, any higher then start retarding. Also says to go down 2 heat ranges on plugs.Seems good, at least on paper anyway.I'm not planning on going any higher than the 75hp.I'm going to get the pi heads but I'm hoping to get by with this for now.
Thanks for the great info guys!!

I read the general installation manual for dry kits. It mentions nothing about the timing retard, but that's not to say it's not in the application-specific instructions. It would be disconcerting to know timing needed to be retarded for 125 shot, just because it's more work to do.

I'm gonna buy a kit and have some fun, though. I thought about Vortech intercooled. Too pricey, install is lengthy.

Well my tune took out 3 degrees total timing on my 100 shot. But I would suggest taking the drive to get he tune. Plus don't you think you'll be curious as to what numbers you put out?
