I have. you can easily get away with a 100-150 wet kit. Its not as fun as its cracked up to be though. IMO, boost or HCI makes a fun street car...nitrous is good for the track only really

I have a 50 shot on my cobra and am looking to move up to 100-125 shot once I get some other issues fixed. It is fun but I can see where forced induction would be more fun.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I did back when it wasn't very expensive. I've run a 100 dry shot on two stock 5.0s. They're a lot of fun, but ultimately I'd rather a power adder that's always there or a motor that makes the power naturally. Many states have laws prohibiting NO2 on the street, and if there is a system failure (slim chance admittedly), you have a higher probability of the failure taking out your engine too.

I always had that "what if" in the back of my head too having that bottle in the car. It's not a flammable gas or anything but if mommy soccer van hits you just right, that bottle can violently fail, sending shrapnel missles everywhere. A regulator knocked off one of those bottles will take your head off.

I used to run a Zex dry 125 shot years back, also when it was cheaper to fill bottles.

Make sure that it only activates under full throttle and to install a window switch so it will kill it if you miss a gear and rev the motor too high.

I haven't filled my bottle in a long time. What is a lb going for these days?

I haven't used N2O since about 2003, but last I heard around here it's about $5 - $5.50 per lb

That's anal carnage. I think the worst I ever paid was $4/lb.
