I stopped at a Ford dealer yesterday and a salesman told me that there was not going to be a 2005 GT Mustang convertable. I'm wondering if this is true beacuse no pictures are out there of one, unless I just can't find them. If anybody knows anything about this let me know. Thanks.

There won't be a 2005 Mustang Convertible in 2004. It will probably show up as a late 2005 model next spring, however. Just in time to lure more people into showrooms who've already seen the coupe.

Job1 was sometime in January if I remember correctly.
Which would put them in dealers lotts just after ...
Say Feb/March of 05
(perfect for the spring/summer months .. when convertables are sold anyway*)

*in area's that have crappy winters

That dealer wouldn't be trying to get you to buy an 04 vert instead, would he?

I wonder if Ford will call it a late 2005, or an early 2006?

I haven't seen Ford go with a "late" anything for a very long time.
