Roush No Corral setup for the 30th Anniversary event!!

I can't recall who it was that remarked that the 30th Anniversary event had setup a Corral for Saleens at the event but I e-mailed about it to one of the registration directors (Jeanette Herndon) and she informed me that there wasn't one set up so the Saleens would not be parked together. Here is the e-mail she wrote....

In order to set up a corral there needs to be 15 pre-registered for that corral. At this point, we do not have 15 Saleens but I have marked you and if there is a corral, you will be placed in it. You might encourage any other Saleen owners you know to go ahead a sign up. If there is not enough for a corral, the cars are going to be parked in order as they arrive. Your group could meet someone and enter at the same time to be parked together. Hopefully by showtime, there will be enough for a Saleen corral.

So my question is, has someone been told different by someone involved with the event and if so who was it so we can get this straightened out.
 
OK I sent a letter to Jeanette and ask her to get with Steve and his wife so the left hand knows what the right hand is doing!!! We'll see what happens next.


Now here is how it went down....

OK Jeanette, here is what I have in response to your information from one of the people I have been talking to.......


" That's interesting. I talked to the Executive Director's wife (Steve McCarle) the other day, and she told me there were 5 Saleens registered for the Corral, so you and I make it 7. They will make a Corral out of 13 cars now, not 15. HOWEVER she also told me that if a corral is NOT made for the Saleens, that they will at least be given sequential parking #'s so we can still park together.

Now my next question is, can you contact Steve or his wife to verify this? I'm just seeing if we can all get on the same page on this.

Now her reply:


This is true. We are parking cars as they come into the show so if there is not enough for a corral (which I believe there will be), then you get together, drive in together and park together. We had talked about creating the corral if we were close to the 15 which is where the 13 came from but the general rule was 15 in a corral. Like I said, I don’t think it will be a problem. I think it is up to about 10 now and the last minute folks are registering now, so I BELIEVE it will happen for you!
