At a loss,
I've searched both here and the corral with no luck
1986 mustang GT
Has a a9s computer that was added with MAF
Car ran before I pulled motor for new cam/valve springs
With key on(engine off) the fuel pump won't prime.
I tested computer relay, fuel pump relay(new and old), fuse links,
Fuel pump turns on when I do the eec tester jump
Fuel pump turns on when I jumper yellow power wire to black/pink wire on relay (pressure is at 40psi)
With key on, I have 12v at orange, red and black/green wires on computer relay
Pin 22 tan/green wire on computer isn't grounding out properly (I don't think)
Also, when I jumper the eec tester to the diagnosis wire, and turn the key. The check engine light does not turn on at all. The bulb does work because it lights when I turn key past ON to START.
so, bad computer? , Short in the tan/green wire?
Have no idea what to test next
