Help! 25 out there and I don't have any heat. Car runs at the right temp, but only blows cold. Car doesn't overheat or anything, just no heat. Car is a '90 LX 5.0. Where do I start??? Thanks...
on the fire wall behind the engine (above cylinder #4) there are two hoses that go from the intake manifold to the fire wall these are your heater hoses. the first place to check is there. what hapens is when the heater core (under and behind the glovebox area) leaks people just bypass it (heater core)you can tell if it it is by passed the heater hose will do a u turn and go back into the manifold . this is a mother to replace. usually requires removal of dash. but again this is just the first place to look. the second place would be the hvac unit which I know absoulty NOTHING about, Yea I live in so cal it has been 85 deg here for the last week Iam close to the beach it never gets below 40 deg f. chris
