 You asked earlier what a Lobo was. I just posted pics of a couple so ease off a bit. Plus, my Fords that are equivalent power to yours run just fine.....2000 GT runs great just like your truck......2001 Focus runs great just like your Mustang GT. So see, 1/2 of them run. That's why I got the BMW cause it never breaks. :)

That's because BMW will rape you in the service department. My friend has a '02 M3 and it started missing. He took it to the dealership and $275 later it had a new coil pack installed. He went up to Canada for vacation and it started missing again. Now that he knew what the problem was he went to the dealership bought a coil pack for $35 and 20 min. later it was running.
What did they quote 2k for?

Oh boy is it a long story... too much to type here. Lets just say due to a casting failure in the clutch fan I am now on my second radiator, fan, shroud, and more thus leaving me stuck in Canada as well as that is where that happened. Still fighting them on the 2 year part warranty on that...:nonono:

What I think didnt get replaced was the power steering hoses which both seemed fine until after the fan explosion incident, that was $350 with parts and labor, the lower control arm bushings are appearantly cracked in the rear= $300 plus labor, as well as the necessary $200 for a new 4 wheel alignment, front tie rod end busings ( I believe thats it) somehow equated to just over $1,000 to replace as they are bad, the fan IS STILL LOOSE and needs a new clutch and collar, and lastly the water pump is howling.... Ah, there is the wonderful tab...:nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

For now I opted out of the repairs as I am going to investigate and see what I can do on my own... Then I might have to take the plunge...

Looks good Mish'

I like how the ol' man had to do the work, while you were supervising. :D

On the rub, you could probably just go 10-15mm narrower in the front. They look like they roll out away from the rim pretty good, if they were just a little narrower, you'd probably be fine.
