I have the same problem, however i was thinking about putting a 9" rear end in it, doing 4 wheel disc brakes and 5 lug conversion all at the same time...i'm just having a hard time tracking down a kit and or pieces.

If you're going to be racing it once per month and you want reliability, go with the Detroit Locker unit. I've got their No-Spin unit and it's been awesome for the past two years.

Auburn, Eaton or Detroit Locker if you want to replace the unit with something different.

Otherwire just rebuild the stock piece. Heck they last for 100K miles right?

For about $50 you can rebuild the diff and change to the 4 clutch method of stacking the clutches and steels.

With your mods you could always rebuild the loc and use the extra friction disc rotation. Thinking about doing the same to mine.

I hate it when my posi quits putting out. Take it out to dinner and buy a nice bottle of wine and you will be knee deep in posi by the end of the night. I gaerontee it.
