No Oil Pressure!?!?!?!

I fixed my car but now i have no oil pressure. There is no metallic noise like a broken oil pump rod or oil pump itself. I checked the dip stick and i'm sure i have plenty of oil plus i added two quarts for the hell of it. Still no oil pressure. The guage is good i'm sure BUT i do have terrible valve train noise like there is no lubrication! What do you guys think? Is there ANYTHING i can do to test the oil pump without taking it out AND is it hard to get to it and change it? Anyone had this problem before and know how to do it? Thanks everyone!!!!
