No Spark New 5.0 Build

Ok u can shoot me if u want but im having my wife help me and shes scared of anything to do with clutch so i was cranking she watched. Said no spark but she know my ground off for spark tester. It is sparking and i went ahead with noid light and injectors are pulsing

Well took a chance went to autozone bought$80 duralast distributor bc if it didnt work take it back worth the chance. And car ran all day yesterday. Good $300 msd out of the box garbage

The second item on the checklist was the PIP sensor ... The PIP sensor supplies the timing pulse to trigger the TFI and injectors. A failing PIP sensor will sometimes let the engine start if the SPOUT is removed. See paragraph 5A – Using a noid light will tell if the PIP is working by flashing when the engine is cranking.

I checked it and it worked. Unless it was just one of its moments when i tested it.
