So I started up my 1989 Mustang this past weekend to wake it up from its winter slumber and it ran like a champ. Yet I went to take it to work today and all it would do is crank and not start. It has a BBK hi flo fuel pump in it that is usualy very noisy at start up but today I did not hear a thing, that is why I believe its the pump.
The car is a 1989 Mustang 5.0 5 speed with typical hop ups.
My question are..
- Is there a relay that runs the pump I should check first?
- Is there an easy way to test the pump?
- Is there any other suggestions that anyone has before I dive into a fuel pump job, that may not even fix it
I appreciate any help given!!
