hey folks. Im pretty new with mustangs in general and i just caught the FOX bug about last year and had about 3 mustangs. now i have an '88 GT hatch. heres what i did:
acid dipped a 93 block (stock bore, fresh hone)
rebuild stock E7's w/ frpp double springs stock everything else)
E303 cam
arp everything
felpro gaskets from top to bottom
bbk shorty headers, super 40 flows, stock H pipe, two empty cats!!!
everything else is stock, i just painted the engine bay and motor: its a real clean rebuild...ill post pics when i fix my camera.
but here is my problem.... i buttoned up everything the other night and when i went to start the car i heard alot of clicking coming from the fuel rail (fuel system is all stock)... i proceeded to check the fuel system. i can hear the pump going and the injectors go off like crazy. i unplugged the harness going to the injectors and they stop making noise but it sounds like the regulator. any ideas?
btw the car was sitting with an empty engine bay when i got it (63,000 miles!!!) it was under a car cover for about 3 years with the engine harness and fuels system wraped in a bag. could the reg be making this noise cuz its stuck??
