nos fuel pump?

a friend of mine has a NOS fuel pump for 5.0 mustangs. he wants $100 bucks for it. But is it really that important to run that pump with nitrous? whats so special about it? and if i decide to go with it is there anything special i need to know about before installing it? what is necessary to do before putting in a fuel pump?

it all depends what kit you get.

a dry kit squirting 100 shot on all stock everything can use a stock pump.

it all depends on the pump size you have. the stock pump wont support much power. i wouldnt get the nos pump for 100. ask him how many lph it flows. i got my intank pump (255lph) for just over $100 on ebay brand new

run a HP 255 in the tank, about 120-130 shipped, and forget the airtech NOS pump. they are only 160lph, and funny enough, do not flow well at all in high psi situations. I have melted alot of plugs running that pump and going lean, using anywhere from a 150-175 shot (dry).
