There's a million people who will tell you about a magazine article where they sprayed it until it melted a plug. They were supposedly close to 200shot. If you could supress detonation I would bet 2 stage 100shots would be doable. Even then you're spraying out alot of nitrous and you "might" "maybe" runs 12s.

On another note. I sprayed my 100% stock turbo motor with a 100shot several hundred times. My semi stocker from last years Project Bolt-on took 100shot and even a 125shot with 20+psi of boost.

I never had a running 2.3 car to test it on. so install a kit correctly and spray until it dies... You could tell us.

 Nah just courious on if anybody already was a gina pig:nice: I'm prob going to a turbo on it, naybe a 50-75 shot for now. I have a 5.0 coupe also that is bout ready to get a make over :nice: peace

I ran a 75 shot on my NA or a while. The results were still disappointing to me. I had some bolt ons, like a long tube, intake, and a cam, so I was running mid 18's in the quarter. The 75 shot dropped me to 16s, and that was spraying from the line. I'm sure it could have gained more, but I had no idea where the tune was at with that setup (far as AF ratios).

If you think about it, even a 100 shot will only bring an 88hp N/A 2.3 up to the stock power level of a 2.3T.

Stock 2.3Ts in a sub 3200lb chassis are good for low 15s to very high 14s.

IMO, the only thing the 2.3 has going for it is turbocharging. I don't like the engine nor its ancient design, but I like my SVO, so I put up with it. :p
