Heres what happens when you use cast pistons and boost!I thought i had blown a head gasket cause i was having serious blow by,and when i did a compression test #7 cylinder had only 35 PSI!So well this is why i had low compression and i'm thinking alot of blow by

so to fix this i decided to start another...well semibuild.I'm going with an all forged 393 stroker!I'm excitted to get it started!Anyone wanna say what i can expect on 9PSI out of a 76mm turbo?peace

Been there done that....

I broke ring lands on 7 of 8 pistons in my first engine in my mustang (on no.3 now... I am hard on stuff). Still ran, but blowby was so bad that it would blow the oil fill out.

A buddy of mine just did the same thing. He had a 11.3:1 347 and bought a Novi for it...i told him he was crazy for putting a blower on that but even the local tuner guy (who is VERY good) told him he would be ok on 6psi. Well, it cost him the entire block/crank/a couple rods/couple pistons.

Perhaps, but not at 11.3:1 compression ratio.
