This afternoon right before I am due to get out of work it starts raining really really hard so instead of running the whole way through the parking lot and getting drenched I just waited for the rain to let up and then made a mad dash to my car.So I am driving down the road, and because it rained so hard, parts of the roads are covered in water. My windows were fogging up so I turned my defrost on but then it got a little hot so I rolled both my windows down a little. So as I am driving along in the left lane some jerk in an SUV comes flying by me right through the big puddle of water in the road and drenched the entire interior of my car(and me).And of course I have nothing in my car to wipe up the water so I drive home, pull in the driveway and click the garage door opener and guess what? The stupid power is out so I cant get into the garage.Ok,no big deal I'll just go in the front door.So I get out of my car and walk up to the door and guess what? The screen door is locked from the inside so now I am locked out.So I went back over to my car and took off one of the shirts that I had on and wiped up all the water that I could.

I am trying really hard to laugh about all of this but right now it isnt very funny.Isnt it common sense that when the roads are flooded that you slow down so that you dont splash water all over everyone and possibly cause an accident?!? I didnt even see the person coming 'cause I was getting ready to go through an intersection and was trying to pay attention to the road.

Desperate times call for desperate measures! I was so mad(and worried about my car) that If I would have needed to strip down buck arse naked to wipe that car off I would have! LOL That's how much I love my car!

sorry to hear about your day i had a similar day mothes ago. it was my first day with my car. it was a friday i was in burbank doing some insert shots for sky high. and it was raining and thundering all day. as the day was coming to an end this cute dog shows up medium size like a shepheard or somthing. anyway we go out side to check out the car and the dog is following. didnt think anything of it but he seamed really scared of the thunder. well were all looking at the car and all of the sudden it jumps up and puts it paws on the pas fender. i freak and carfully pull him back and say no!. so were all talking about the dog and notice it staring at the front of the car just as i say what the heck is it looking at. and i am telling the truth. this dog jumps right on the hood! i mean what the heck. i love dogs and all but this has to stop. i grabbed the dog very carful so it wouldnt scratch the hood any worse that it did said i gota go and left. lucky the hood was ok. just when i thought that was enough when i woke up the nex morning my wife hey look at this its pretty cool. (yea right) it was hailing i could have died. luckily it was small and didnt do any damage. i feal for you and your pretty stang good luck with the cleaning

Jenn...

We sometimes have days like this. Consider it a test. I know it seemed rough, but on the bright side, you made it home alive and did not get into an accident. Your interior can be cleaned. You came home to find you home locked and safe. Better than burnt to the ground with firemen in the driveway. It is just rain; next time, go into it. Feel the wonder of how kids feel. You will not melt and many men love wet women... :)

When we get sad or frustrated, it is hard to broaded our horizen and see the big picture. I, too, have had these days. You are not alone and tomorrow will come along, to provide a new set of challenges and beauty. Look for the good. It is there. Sometimes it is just VERY SMALL!...

Sister Love to you Girl! Sleep well and enjoy just being alive and being here. Sometimes we forget to do that before the hustle and bustle of the crazy day!
