TS is spot on! Jrichker has a write up for pulling the codes (i think you need a test light to pull codes, as you [we] dont have functional CEL's). be sure to note any EGR, EVR codes.

also let us know more about what the exact feel of the problem is, etc. good luck Hugo.

As requested...

Here's the link to dump the computer codes with only a jumper wire or paper clip and the check engine light, or test light or voltmeter. I’ve used it for years, and it works great.

See http://www.troublecodes.net/Ford/
OR
See http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html for more descriptive help

IF your car is an 88 stang, you'll have to use the test lamp or voltmeter method. There is no functional check engine light on the 88's except possibly the Cali Mass Air cars.

Codes have different answers if the engine is running from the answers that it has when the engine isn't running. It helps a lot to know if you had the engine running when you ran the test.

Trouble codes are either 2 digit or 3 digit, there are no cars that use both 2 digit codes and 3 digit codes.

For those who are intimidated by all the wires & connections, see http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16153 for what a typical hand scanner looks like. Normal retail price is about $30 or so at AutoZone or Walmart .

ive tryed pulling codes of it but i never done it while running alwasy done it the key on but all i get is code 11 system pass. they way it feel is one of them is when im at a red light and then take off it starts to buck back and forth like if not getting enough fuel or likr if a plug is missing. it also does it when im crusing it will do it it sometime and if i let off the gas it stops but assoon as i try to push on the gas pedal again it will do it again but then it will go away but it will do this till i get where im going and turn off the car. then i could turn it back on and it wont do it n the way home.

is there are reason you have not run KOER tests?
the problem could be an EGR issue to a bad connection - too many possibilities to consider.

i ran the KOER test today all i got was the code 94 and 44 witch is the thermactor air system but i got those plugged off on the back of the heads. i checked them out and one was loose so i tightned it, took the car on a test drive drove fine for 20+ then i got in her in town. thats when it did it again so i pulled over turned the car off and turned her back on and it was fine from there on till i got back home. i noticed that when she acts up it drops my idle down to 800 rpm and its usualy around 950-1000 rpms. once i got home i checked my TPS and it was reading 1.001v so i readjusted it to .975v where it was before. it feels like when you teaching someone to drive a stick for the first time the way it bucks but not as bad and i can hear it back fire just a little out the exhaust.
