Hey y'all. Went to the first street legals last friday and found out about a rule change that might affect some of you.

Anyone running 13.99 or faster with an aftermarket supercharger, turbocharger or nitrous must wear an SFI 3.2A/1 approved jacket. This is a single layer fire retardant jacket. Don't know if this is everywhere or just SIR. They let me race this time but they might not again. The jacket I want is back ordered for 3-4 weeks so looks like I'm done for a while. Cheers.

Ya, SIR is an NHRA track, that's one of their new rules for this year. I got mine from Summit for $45US. The part that makes me laugh is I can't use my Fire Retardent coveralls form work which are Nomex but I can buy a crappy Proban jacket that will lose it's fire retardent capabilities in three washes all because of the stupid SFI 3.2A/1 tag. Dumb. I posted the new rule change in the 4.6 section a few weeks ago, I forgot to post it here, oops, sorry.
