Looks like FFW finally pulled their heads out and is allowing turbos in Renegade. The blower cars probably still have an advantage with the F2 vs the 88mm but it should be interesting for sure.

One less place for the blower boys to hide from the turbo cars...it's about f'ing time if you ask me

That will definitely make it more interesting. Best of luck to the blower cars.

Wow, that is big news! I figured in my head before I looked at the rules that there would be no intercoolers allowed, but they are. Basically seems like drag radial, but with slicks. I see Borla is the new sponsor of the class, do you think that had anything to do with it. I thought they were sponsored by one of the blower companies. I could be thinking of NMRA though.

Maybe I should talk to Wally about gutting, I mean getting some weight out of my car. I got about 600lbs to go to get it to 2600. amnit:

Someone pointed out this little oops in the rulebook over on tm.com:

NITROUS OXIDE
Permitted on non supercharged engines. Multi-stage systems permitted. Must be properly installed according to manufacturers recommendations (See Technical Section, Nitrous Oxide in General Regulations).

I dunno man, the class record is 7.75 currrently, but with turbo + spray it shouldn't be an issue

That was my plan. If I couldn't take enough weight out of the car, I figured I would just spray it.
