No, the fuel/n20 passages seem a tad small IMHO.

have you ever seen a cut-a-way of the actuall "noszle" ? Seems too restrictive to me. But, I guess if you don't know what I'm talking about..........it doesn't really matter anyway.

yes I have seen a cut away of a nozzle. If you do not like the plate system, name one that is better that isnt a direct port injection(and that doesnt cost $1000+ )

That isn't even the issue....he never said that the system was overpriced garbage...just saying to spend the extra coin and get a dry system. I never saw him write that the plate system was too expensive??

what are you talking about? I only stated the price of the direct port injection because it is the best system you can buy but the price is freaking unreal for it.

This is why the plate system is probably the best system you can buy right now for the price and ease of install.

Agree...i thought you were saying the plate system was a "superior" system in function.

gotcha, sometimes on forums what you are trying to say doesnt always come across the screen in your sentences.

but I do feel that a plate system is superior than nozzles. Plates are proven performers for years.

I like the NX plate system in one of the previous links. I think that's the one I am going to go with. Got a quick question about it, when running nitrous you have to run a couple steps colder plugs and back down the timing a couple of degrees. However, my car is a daily driver, I am not always running Nitrous, so with the changes to timing and plugs will I notice a power loss when driving around normally? Is it going to feel a lot slower?

yes you would have to run a colder plug. Im running a one step colder plug capped closer currently and will probably be going with a more colder plug.

The pulled timing can be handled a few different ways. You can have a switch chip burnt for all motor operation and nitrous operation..

Here's my dilemma,

I cant get a flip chip cause i am still under warranty. I know N20 will void it also, but I plan on doing a hidden install or something that I can pull off quickly before service. But the chip the dealer would know was there.

I thought of a predator tune, but then when I am running normal daily driving mode and want to switch tunes to nitrous tune at the spur of the moment, I dont want to have to go home and re flash the computer.

Is there any nitrous systems out there that you can run without messing with the timing, colder plugs, or re tuned?

As stated above, I never downed the NX plate setup, or even NX in general. I can't really name any better, but I do know that my good ol' "been used in a billion N20 setup's before" single nozzle/fan spray tapped in the intake tube works just as good as any plate on a 2V car.

I don't really think anyone spraying 100 to 150 shot is gonna notice a difference between the two setups. I would imagine someone wanting to run big 250shot or dual stage kits would want to run a plate or something of the like to better distribute that large of hit.

Everyone has their opinion, the run of the mill dry kit is mine for the reasons I've already stated.

I run a 2 step colder NGK plug, with STOCK timing and nothing done to the factory tune in the car. I do run 93octane now. I understand that 93octane in an otherwise stock car is useless/less HP, but I seem to still run the same times ON MOTOR with the colder plugs/93gas as I did with the stock plugs, and 87octane. So, take that for what its worth. No driveability issues either.

When running a 150shot(very rare), I just dump about 2 or so gallons of 110race gas in the car, mixed with the 93.

Hell, with the way gas prices are going.........race gas is gonna be about the same price as 93!!!!

The Nitrous will void a warranty just as fast as a chip.

I have the plate kit from NX it is a great kit and I have an Xcallibrator with generic tunes from Modular Depot. I am getting dynoed on tuesday so I will post my results then but reflashing the computer only takes about 45 seconds as opposed to flipping a switch. I camn wait Becuase I dont use the nitrous on the street.
