Good morning all,

I have a question on O2's. My 95 vert has 130,000 and I have no idea how old the O2 sensors are.
I am replacing them, what brand is best, looking at Bosch. I know there at different types of O2's also, I am still running a stock computer with no chip?
Any input would be appreciated.

John

Bosch 02's are good, most people run them. If your 02's have never been replaced in 130,000 then you are deff due for an 02 change. They generally last about 50-75,000 Miles. Mine were on for 118,000 before I ever got to changeing them

Bosch makes the best O2 sensors, like Striped5.0 said. My car has 126k on her, and orignals as well, but I will be replacing them when I put on the catback and H pipe.

let us know if you can tell any difference when you get them changed. I heard not to change them is theres no check engine light on, if they're bad they'll trip the night (or so i heard from a mechanic)

Not true I had BOTH go bad when I first bought my car. I took it to my buddy who works for ford( I used to work with him at ford as well) and ran the codes and sure enough my o2's are bad and NO CE light at all. He said they normally don't trigger the CE light they just cause bad miliage(sp?) and what not.
