I am wanting to put EFI in my '65 and need to know something about plumbing the 02 sensors into the exhaust. First, there is only one 02 sensor, correct?
I need to know if I just take the bung and weld it to the header. I read it's best about 3 inches away from the collector. Does this sound right?

There are (2) O2 sensors, not one and you are correct. it's best to locate it approx 3-inches past the collector. So weld them into the ends of your H/X-pipe, not your header. It's also a lot easier to do.

So there is one 02 sensor for each side of the exhaust?

No, there is one sensor per side.
The way you worded it in your initial question made it look like you were asking if there was only one O2 sensor for the entire set up.

Yeah, that's what I meant. There is one 02 sensor per side.

Thanks man!
