I just installed a Pypes off road X-pipe and the upper O2 sensor on the passenger side is touching the transmission bell housing. Is there a smaller (shorter) O2 sensor I can use.... or should I just call Pypes to have them replace the X-pipe.

Here's a pic.

I have done everything I can to twist, turn, push, pull.... nothing! It still touches.

i know that mine was nowhere near that close to anything. i would contact PYPES and see what they think about it. maybe it should not have passed the quality control. send them this pic as reference. then they know exactly what the problem is.

you could also try to contact the place you bought it from.

you should not have to change anything to install this piece. there is definatley something wrong with the part.
