Hey guys, I was wondering if my longtubes could have caused my O2 sensors to start having problems. I think they were already on the way out anyway because they already had over 100k miles on them, but is it possible that the H/C/I and longtubes could have pushed them over the edge due to them being right on the header collector? The reason I'm asking is because my car has been running extremely rich since I built my motor and I think I've pretty much narrowed it down to the O2 sensors. I put a code scanner on it but all I came up with was EGR issue which I was expecting because I deleted the smog pump and I blocked of the tube going to the EGR bung on the headers. So, what do you guys think?
One more question. Where can I find some wideband O2 sensors? How much do they normally cost? Will they work ok with the stock EEC? I want to put a rich/lean guage on the car with some wideband O2s so I can know exactly how my air/fuel mixture is at all times.
